Transformation Times

I have been told there is a blessing in Chinese which states as "May you live in Interesting times", what a noble and sensible blessing it is? Clearly goes on to state that our lives are invariably influenced by the happenings around us, be it the transformations for good or worse.
Time is changing and its evident, The crusaders of change have taken a foot hold be it men who brought us a glory on the pitch winning by fighting against the weakness and keeping defeat in bay or the activists who are pitching on street battling their way through the path of democracy to control and eradicate the menace (corruption) that has shamed us all...
It’s for sure the change is here and it’s to stay, The call of "Jago India Jago" has long echoed in our mind, now it’s in motion, gaining strength by strength at every stride. It has summoned the govt to act and heed. Unsung heros of India like Anna hazare would certainly lead the path to shackle this menace of largest democracy..Sure, It’s not going to be simple but the journey has begun and this time it’s for real,....Warren Buffet on recent trip to India echoed Obama's words “we are not an emerging nation but already emerged”, The question of are we living in interesting times stands well answered, it’s no more " Jago India Jago" its "Bhago India Bhago"
Should you intent to combine our solidarity for this cause don’t forget to get candles for the ‘Desi Pani’ event on 9th Sat evening @ Barbeque pit.
Jai Ho !!!!!

The Tiger Roars!!!!

India celebrates emphatic win clinched on field by the strength of character and courage of their men bringing cheers to millions of Indians, which no budget or bonuses could provide in recent past.
Crore’s of people old and young, Rich and poor joined their hands together to stand firmly behind their team in the hour of truth. What a match it was !!! The game swung like pendulum swaying in either direction the prayers reached heaven and gods could not ignore it, The blessings came to keep our hopes of cup intact.
The event will certainly go down as our brightest movement of Indian world cup history and with it our memories of coming together as a group in long vale and cheering for the team.
Thanks to Ravi, Anu and kids for hosting and bearing the noisy lot. Further they have come forward to host it on a larger scale and screen the gala event of world cup finals to Longvale Duniya members, there has also been suggestions of making it a pot lock party…Do suggest us what you think and be there to cheer the men in blue…..

Happy Holi...

The festival of Holi is regarded as a celebration of the Colors of Unity & Brotherhood - an opportunity to forget all differences and indulge in fun. It has traditionally been celebrated in high spirit without any distinction of cast, creed, color, race, status or sex. It is one occasion when sprinkling colored powder ('gulal') or colored water on each other breaks all barriers of discrimination so that everyone looks the same and universal brotherhood is reaffirmed.

On this occassion of unity and brotherhood, LongVale Duniya is back with a colourful Makeover....Dont forget to check us out!!!!!...and please do send us your comments, Holi poems or just wishes....
Wishing you and your family a very bright, colourful and joyful holi.
